Matthias Plachta

Matthias Plachta (born 16 May 1991 Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German professional ice hockey player standing since 2009 with a production license at the Adler Mannheim of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga under contract. He is the long-standing DEL player Jacek Płachta the son.

Career

The 1.84 m tall striker played for the eaglets, the young team Adler Mannheim in the German junior league. From 2008 Plachta finally also received first inserts the Mannheim partner Heilbronner Falken in the 2nd Bundesliga, with whom he could reach the play-off quarter-finals.

Since 2009, the native of Freiburg has a professional contract with the Eagles, but is still eligible to play due to a mining license for the Falcons.

Internationally
