Denis Reul

Denis Reul (born 29 June 1989 Marktredwitz ) is a German professional ice hockey player who plays for the Adler Mannheim in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga since 2009.

Career

Denis Reul began his career in 2004 at the young Adler Mannheim in the German junior league. In three years he won two championships with his team. In the season 2006/ 07 the defender also played 16 games for the Heilbronner Falken in the big leagues. Then the Lewiston MAINEiacs picked him in 15th place in the CHL Import Draft in 2007. In the NHL Entry Draft 2007, the Boston Bruins secured in the fifth round at 130th place the rights to Reul.

For the season 2007/ 08 he moved first in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Junior League to the MAINEiacs. In the final phase of the 2008/ 09 Reul made ​​his professional debut for the Providence Bruins, the farm team of the Boston Bruins in the American Hockey League. For the 2009/10 season the right shooter returned to Mannheim, where he was fitted with a mining license and is therefore eligible to play again for the Heilbronner Falken in the 2nd Bundesliga.

In January 2012, Reul extended his contract with the Eagles until 2014.
