Matthieu Vaxivière

Matthieu Vaxivière (born 3 December 1994 Limoges ) is a French racing driver. He enters 2014 in Formula Renault 3.5.

Career

Vaxivière began his motorsport career in karting. He then took part in several races of the Trophée Andros Eisrennserie. In 2010 he went into the Mitjet Series, a series of cars that are powered by a motorcycle engine at the start. He finished the season in ninth place.

2011 moved Vaxivière into formula racing and competed in the French F4 Championship. With three wins and ten podium finishes, he decided the championship. 2012 Vaxivière received a cockpit at Tech 1 Racing in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup. With a tenth place as the only points placement he finished the season off on the 29th place overall. In addition Vaxivière for Tech 1 Racing participated in four events of the Alpine Formula Renault. He achieved a podium with a third place ranking. In the overall standings, he was 14 He also completed two races in the French GT Championship. 2013 remained Vaxivière at Tech 1 Racing in the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup. At the season opener in Alcaniz, he won both races from pole position starting and also drove in two races the fastest race lap. In the rest of the season did not succeed in Vaxivière to build on these results and he just drove in two other races in the points.
