Maxim Mayorov

Maxim Mayorov Olegovich (Russian Максим Олегович Майоров; born March 26, 1989 in Andijan, Uzbek SSR ) is an Uzbek- Russian hockey players. Since September 2012, he plays for Atlant Mytischtschi in the Kontinental Hockey League on the position of the right winger.

Career
Maxim Mayorov was born in Andijon, but grew up in Leninogorsk and attended the hockey school.
Mayorov began his career in the 2005/06 season in the second team Ak Bars Kazan of the Russian League played in the third. For the season 2006/ 07 he moved to the Wysschaja League, the second highest Russian league to Neftjanik Leninogorsk. There, he scored ten points in 28 games before moving within the league to Neftjanik Almetyevsk. In five games, he was able to achieve two points. He also ran in four playoff games. In 2007 NHL Entry Draft, he was selected in the fourth round to 94th place by the Columbus Blue Jackets, but switched back to Kazan for the time being. There he played in the 2007/ 08 season, 13 games in the Super League, scoring one goal.
In the summer of 2008, the Blue Jackets took the 18 -year-old to sign under doped with 1.8 million U.S. dollars three-year contract with validity for the National Hockey League and American Hockey League. After the winger had the first half of the season 2008/ 09, spent at the Syracuse Crunch, Columbus farm team in the AHL, he was appointed for the first time at the beginning of 2009 in the NHL squad and made his debut.
Internationally
Mayorov represented his native country in the Super Series 2007, a comprehensive eight game series between the Canadian and Russian U20 selection. He recorded two assists in seven games and two penalty minutes. At the Junior World Championships, the striker was not considered.
