Maxim Mayorov Olegovich (Russian Максим Олегович Майоров; born March 26, 1989 in Andijan, Uzbek SSR ) is an Uzbek- Russian hockey players. Since September 2012, he plays for Atlant Mytischtschi in the Kontinental Hockey League on the position of the right winger.

Career

Maxim Mayorov was born in Andijon, but grew up in Leninogorsk and attended the hockey school.

Mayorov began his career in the 2005/06 season in the second team Ak Bars Kazan of the Russian League played in the third. For the season 2006/ 07 he moved to the Wysschaja League, the second highest Russian league to Neftjanik Leninogorsk. There, he scored ten points in 28 games before moving within the league to Neftjanik Almetyevsk. In five games, he was able to achieve two points. He also ran in four playoff games. In 2007 NHL Entry Draft, he was selected in the fourth round to 94th place by the Columbus Blue Jackets, but switched back to Kazan for the time being. There he played in the 2007/ 08 season, 13 games in the Super League, scoring one goal.
