Menorca Airport (Spanish: Aeropuerto de Menorca) on the island of Menorca is one of three international airports in the Balearic Islands (next to Palma de Mallorca and Ibiza ). It is located 4.5 km southwest of the island's capital, Mahon. The only terminal has 16 gates. The airport replaced the 1969 San Luis Aerodrome, which serves general aviation today.
The airport has a predominantly tourist character and is mainly in the summer months destination European charters. In addition, there are regular scheduled flights especially to mainland Spain (Madrid, Barcelona) and to Mallorca as well as other European destinations. Most of the passengers to Menorca recorded while Germany, England and Spain.
