Michaël Rossi

Michaël Rossi ( born April 12, 1988 in Chambéry ) is a French racing driver.

Career

Rossi began his motorsport career in 2001 in karting, where he was active until 2005. In 2006 he moved to Formula racing and was 25th in the French Formula Renault. In addition, he took up to two races of the Italian Formula Renault and was a guest driver in the winter series of the British Formula Renault.

After only one year in Formula racing Rossi joined us in 2007 in touring car racing and went to the Renault Megane Eurocup. He won a race and finished his first season in ninth place in the championship. 2008 Rossi remained in the Renault Eurocup Mégane. He won four races this season and decided the championship with 170 to 154 points, ahead of Maxime Martin for themselves.

2009 Rossi was not a full time cockpit and he participated in eight out of twelve races of the SEAT Leon Euro Cup. He chose two for himself and finished the season off in sixth place overall. He also returned for an event in the Renault Eurocup Mégane, scoring a third place. In addition, he took up to two races of the Formula Le Mans. 2010 Rossi received a cockpit for the entire season of the SEAT Leon Euro Cup in Sunred Engineering. He won a race and was defeated at the end of the season with 42 to 48 points, only the master Gábor Wéber. In addition, Rossi was active in the French SEAT León Supercopa, and finished the season in fourth place in the drivers' standings.
