Mike Richter

Michael Thomas Richter ( born September 22, 1966 in Abington Township, Pennsylvania) is an American former professional ice hockey goaltender who played from 1989 to 2003 for the New York Rangers in the National Hockey League. He is considered one of the most successful American Hockey goalkeeper of all time.

Career

Judge hockey career began in 1984 at the Philadelphia Junior Flyers, where he won 36 games 23. In 1985 he moved to the high school, played in the Northwood Huskies and also contested the Junior World Championships in 1985. During NHL Entry Draft in 1985 it chose the New York Rangers in the second round as the 28th His path led him to the University of Wisconsin in their team, he also played hockey.
