Eric Staal

Eric Staal ( born October 29, 1984 in Thunder Bay, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who currently plays for the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League.

Career

Eric Staal played until the summer of 2003 in the Ontario Hockey League for Peterborough Petes and reached in his last season 98 points in 66 games. In July 2003, he was selected by the Carolina Hurricanes in the NHL Entry Draft in 2003 in the first round at position two.
