Mikhail Grigoriev

Mikhail Petrovich Grigoriev (Russian: Михаил Петрович Григорьев; * February 1, 1991 in Tyumen ) is a Russian ice hockey player standing since 2012 with Barys Astana in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Mikhail Grigoryev started his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of Gasowik Tyumen. During the 2007/ 08 season the defender made ​​his debut in professional hockey for Moskovskaya Oblast Chimik, for which he ran aground in three games in the Super League. He spent the entire rest of the season with Neftjanik Leninogorsk in Wysschaja League, the second Russian league, where he prepared seven goals in 38 games. The season 2008/ 09 he spent at second division Yuzhny Ural Orsk.

For the 2009/10 season Grigoriev joined Salavat Yulaev Ufa of the Kontinental Hockey League. Previously the team had selected him as the 45th overall player in the KHL Junior Draft 2009 in the second round. In his debut season in the KHL, he came to 13 inserts for Ufa, while he spent the entire rest of the season at the junior team in the multinational junior league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja league. There, he scored for Tolpar Ufa in 56 games 30 points scorer, of which eleven goals. In the season 2010/11 the Russians won with Salavat Yulaev Ufa of the Gagarin Cup, the championship of the KHL. In addition, he stood still for Tolpar Ufa in the MHL on the ice and completed 15 games for Toros Neftekamsk in the new second Russian league, the Wysschaja Hockey League.

In the following season, he was still active for all three teams, before he was hired in July 2012 Barys Astana.
