Milaca is a small town ( with a status of "City" ) and the administrative seat of Mille Lacs County in the U.S. state of Minnesota. In 2010 Milaca had 2946 inhabitants.

Geography

Milaca is located in northeastern Minnesota's Center on Rum River, a left tributary of the upper Mississippi. The geographical coordinates are 45 ° 45'24 " north latitude and 93 ° 39'05 " west longitude. The city covers 8.83 km ², spread over 8.31 km ² land and 0.52 km ² water surface.

U.S. Highway 169 runs north -south direction than east ring road along the outskirts of the city of Milaca.
