Miss Belgium

Miss Belgium is a national beauty contest in Belgium, which is discharged from the Comité National Miss Belgique or Nationaal Comité Miss België since 1969. In Germany it is called Miss Belgique ( French) or Miss België ( Flemish).

There were long before Belgian beauty queens, who were elected by other organizations. Even before the Second World War, she took part in the elections for Miss Universe. Netta Duchâteau won in 1931 even this item.

Miss Belgium is the largest such competition in the country. His winners or finalists take part in the Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss International and Miss Europe.

From 1991 to 2009, a further competition existed under the name of Miss Belgian Beauty. It was founded by Ignace Crombé and was organized by his agency Animo.
