Miyun County

Miyun (密云 县) is a county -administered city of Beijing in northern China.

The Miyun County is located in the northeast of the administrative area of Beijing. It has an area of 2226.5 km ² and around 425,000 inhabitants ( end of 2005, only residents with primary residence ). A tourist attraction is the Nanshan Ski Village, a popular winter sports resort.

Administrative divisions of Miyun County

At the community level, Miyun is composed of two road districts, 17 municipalities and a large Nationality community together. These are:

  • Greater community Miyun (密云 镇), the capital, the seat of county government;

  • Greater community Shilipu (十里堡 镇);
  • Greater community Henanzhai (河南 寨镇);
  • Greater community Jugezhuang (巨 各 庄镇);
  • Greater community Mujiayu (穆 家峪 镇);
  • Greater community Taishitun (太师 屯镇);
  • Greater community Gaoling (高 岭镇);
  • Greater community Bulaotun (不 老 屯镇);
  • Greater community Fengjiayu (冯 家峪 镇);
  • Greater community Gubeikou (古北口 镇);
  • Greater community Dachengzi (大城 子 镇);
