MSC Musica

Bureau Veritas

IMO no. 9320087

The MSC Musica is a cruise ship in the MSC Crociere SA. She was baptized in June 2006 and went on 1 July 2006 on its maiden voyage. After the naming ceremony by the Italian actress Sophia Loren, which took place in Venice, the ship stood out for the week-long maiden voyage to sea.

Equipment

The ship has four different restaurants, a sushi bar, a 800 square-foot casino, the smoking room Havana Club, a theater with 1,200 seats and a disco, as well as a tennis court and a mini golf course.

Use

For a long time the MSC Muscia is used for the eastern Mediterranean from Venice, where her maiden voyage in June 2006 took place. In addition, she is traveling in winter on the east coast of South America.

In the summer of 2013, the ship leaves the Mediterranean for the first time and is used for cruises in the Baltic Sea and in Norway from Copenhagen and Kiel. In the fall of 2013, the Black Sea is traversed for the first time. In the winter season 2013/2014 the MSC Musica will probably not return to South America, because it is there replaced by the MSC Poesia. Between November 2013 and March 2014, the MSC Musica will sail from Santo Domingo in the Caribbean.

Sister ships (Musica - class)

The MSC Orchestra, whose maiden voyage began on 16 May 2007, is a sister ship to MSC Musica. As the third ship of this series, the MSC Poesia, since 6 April 2008 and since March 1, 2010 MSC Magnifica is in service.
