The MSC Fantasia is a cruise ship of MSC Crociere SA headquartered in Naples, a subsidiary of Mediterranean Shipping Company. The MSC Fantasia was at the time of commissioning a survey of 137 936 GT, the largest passenger ship ever built for a European ship owner and is currently the sixth largest cruise ship type worldwide.

The MSC Fantasia is used mainly in the Mediterranean with a base port of Genoa. During the winter months, the Canary Islands are busy. Construction and commissioning

The ship was built under the hull number A33 on the French tradition shipyard Chantiers de l' Atlantique.
