Murad Gaidarov

Murad Sairudinowitsch Gaidarow ( born February 13, 1980 in Khasavyurt, Dagestan, Russian SFSR, Soviet Union) is a Belarusian wrestler who also started for Russia and Azerbaijan.

Career

Murad Gaidarow began as a teenager in Chasavyurt with the rings. He concentrated on the free style. In 1996, he started for the Russian Wrestling Federation in international championships. In 2000, he saw, however, due to the heavy competition no way to qualify for the Olympic Games in Sydney. He therefore took the short term to the Azerbaijani nationality and tried for this country to qualify for the Olympics. As this failed, he launched then again for Russia, but then switched in 2001 finally to Belarus. So within two years, he started internationally for three different states, without the international Wrestling Federation took action against it.

Since 2000, he is now a member of a sports club in Minsk, where it is trained by Valentin Mursinkow. He holds a diploma as a lawyer.

The weight class in which he started after his junior time on all international championships, was the welterweight division, which had its weight limit by 2001 at 76 kg and from 2002 at 74 kg. In 1996, he was in Tehran Junior World Champion ( Cadets = up to 16 years ) in the weight class up to 65 kg. 1998 but could this success for the Juniors ( Juniors, then until the age of 18 ) do not repeat, but he left early and came only on the 21th Place. In 2000 he tried his hand in Leipzig, starting for Azerbaijan to qualify for the Olympic Games in Sydney. This he did not succeed, because he took welterweight only the 25th place. But he had in 2000, again starting for Russia, two great success at junior level. First, he was in Sofia Junior European welterweight champion before Fatih Koyuncu from Turkey and then he finished at the Junior World Cup in Nantes in the same weight class 3rd place.

Then in 2001 he started for the first time for Belarus. He came here at the World Championships in Sofia in the welterweight division after a win over Batbayar Buyandelger, Mongolia and one defeat against Mehdi Hajizadeh Joubari, Iran, only on the 16th Place. Just one year later, in 2002, he won the European Championship in Baku with four wins and one defeat in the final against Arpad Ritter from Hungary a silver medal. That was his first medal win in the seniors at an international championship. But at the World Cup this year in Tehran, he had no success. He lost there in his first fight against Daniel Gonzales Aguillera from Cuba and defeated in his second fight European champion Arpad Ritter, but different because of the former regulations of nonsensical anyway and was only on the 16th Place.

Two medals won Murad Gaidarow then at the International Championships of 2003. Riga, he finished at the European Championships after losing in the semifinals against Arpad Knight with a victory in the consolation round of Saur Botajew, Russia, 3rd place, and thus gained a bronze medal. At the World Championship 2003 in New York, he fought with wins over Araik Geworgjan, Armenia, Gela Saghiraschwili, Georgia, Kunihiko Obata, Japan, Sihamir Osmanow, Macedonia and Gennadi Lalijew, Kazakhstan to the finals before, in which he, however, the time may world's best freestyle wrestler Buwaisar Saitijew, Russia, just going down on points. He thus became Vice World Champion.

In 2004 he was also Vice-European Champion in Ankara. He had fought there with wins over Araik Geworgjan, Nathanael Ackerman, UK and Krystian Brzozowski, Poland again in the finals, but again by a Russian wrestler, namely Ruslan Kokajew subject. For the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, he was not nominated by the Belarusian Association. He started instead at the Universities World Championship in Lodz and took there the championship title with a victory in the final over Hadi Habibi, Iran.

In the years 2005 to 2007 Murad Gaidarow won no medals at international championships. He lost in those years, but three times to fight for a bronze medal, and indeed at the 2005 European Championship in Varna, opposite Ahmet Gülhan from Turkey, at the 2006 European Championships in Moscow against Krystian Brzozowski and 2006 United at the World Championships in Guangzhou against Don Pritzlaff from the States. At the 2007 World Championships in Baku, he defeated among others Soslan Tigijew from Uzbekistan, but lost to Iván Fundora Zaldívar from Cuba and got away with it only to 12th place.

Then became the most successful year in the career of Murad Gaidarow 2008. He was first at the European Championships in Tampere with wins over Antans Azarevics from Latvia, Emzarios Bentinidis, Greece and Krystian Brzozowski and a defeat in the final battle against Machatsch Murtasalijew from Russia Vice - European champion and he won at the Olympic Games in Beijing with wins over Tschamsulwara Tschamsulwarajew, Azerbaijan, Gela Saghirascheili, a defeat against Soslan Tigijew and a win over Gheorghita Stefan, Romania, an Olympic bronze medal.

One last medal at international championships he won in 2009 at the European Championships in Vilnius. He defeated there Irbek Valentinovich Farnijew, Russia, Laszlo Szabolcs, Hungary, then lost to Firat Binici, Turkey and beat Ljulzim Vrenezi, Macedonia and Gela Saghiraschwili. At the World Championships this year in Herning / Denmark but he missed a medal only just because he lost in the consolation round of the battle for this medal against Sadegh Saeed Goudarzi of Iran just after points that finished 5th Place.

His last start at an international championship graduated Murad Gaidarow in 2011. He defeated here at the World Championships in Istanbul Robert Olle from Slovakia and Carmelo Lumia from Italy, lost to Sadegh Saeed Goudarzi, defeated Augusto Midana, GBS and lost against Dawit Chutischwili Georgia, reaching the 8th place.

For participation in the 2012 Olympics in London, he could not qualify, because it only seats 5 and 8 reached at the tournaments in Sofia and Helsinki, which were not sufficient for a start authorization.
