Nationals Park

Washington Nationals (MLB) (since 2008)

The Nationals Park is the baseball stadium of the Washington Nationals, a Major League Baseball team in the National League. It was officially opened on 30 March 2008 and replaced the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Stadium, which is still the football club DC United is used as a home for the Nationals. It is the first LEED-certified "green" stadium in the United States.

Pope Benedict XVI. held on 17 April 2008 a Mass in Nationals Park before 47,000 faithful. For the exhibition more than 200,000 ticket requests were registered.
