Nick George (basketball)

Nicholas James George ( born September 25, 1982 in Manchester, Greater Manchester ) is a British professional basketball player. After studying in the United States, George played professionally in Italy in particular. Most recently, he was until 2012 at the Lugano Tigers in Switzerland's national basketball league active. With the British national George took part in the European Championship finals in 2009.

Career

After George had been active for several youth and junior national teams of the English Basketball Association, he went in 2002 to study in the United States at the Virginia Commonwealth University, whose high school team Rams then played in the Colonial Athletic Association NCAA.
