Niedermorschwihr
Niedermorschwihr (Eng. low Morsch Weier ) is a municipality with 540 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Haut-Rhin in Alsace region of France.
Geography
The municipality is part of the Regional Natural Park of Ballons des Vosges. The village is situated and west of Colmar in Turckheim. There, the Alsace Wine Route runs. A hamlet called Hunabuehl.
History
Around the year 1148 was called the village " Morswilre ". In the 16th century - then the Habsburgs had supremacy - were Niedermorschwihr and neighboring Obermorschwihr recognized as a distinct communities.

Attractions
- Church of St. Gallus ( Saint -Gall ). This is an organ of Andreas Silbermann, built in 1726, which was originally made for the Dominican church, Colmar. The building has a spiral spire, which is unique in its kind in Alsace.
