Niederöblarn is a municipality with 601 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the judicial district Liezen and Liezen in Styria. From 1 January 2015 it has joined forces framework of the Styrian municipality structural reform with the market town of Oeblarn, the new community will be named " Oeblarn " to continue.
Geography
Niederöblarn is in the field of Expositur Groebming.

The municipality comprises the following four localities ( in parentheses population as of 31 October 2011):
- Gritschenberg (101 )
- Moosberg also Sonnbergstuben (29 )
- Niederöblarn ( 453)
- Straßerberg (10 )
The municipality comprises the cadastral Niederöblarn.
Incorporations
As part of the Styrian community structure reform the church Niederöblarn will be fused (at the latest in 2015) with the community Oeblarn.
History
The abolition of the manorial system was carried out in 1848., The local church as an autonomous body was established in 1850. Niederöblarn was hit in 1920 by a devastating flood. After the German annexation of Austria in 1938, the community came to Reichsgau Styria, 1945 to 1955 she was part of the British zone of occupation in Austria.

Economy and infrastructure
Niederöblarn is the headquarters and production facility of Schachnerhaus GmbH., A company specializing in prefabricated houses and log houses operating with more than 60 employees.
Regional significance of the airfield Niederöblarn who had to move here from the military airfield Aigen in the Enns Valley in the 1970s. It is specially designed for gliding, a flight school is affiliated. Special attraction for the glider is the huge, just north standing mountain floor of Grimmig, the almost 2000 m rising above the flat valley floor. In addition, the ÖAMTC rescue helicopter Christophorus 14 is stationed for the space Enns Valley and the Emergency Hospital Kalwang here.
