Nikolai Lemtyugov

Nikolai Alexandrovich Lemtjugow (Russian Николай Александрович Лемтюгов; born January 15, 1986 in Miass, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with Spartak Moscow HK from the Kontinental Hockey League since December 2013.

Career

Nikolai Lemtjugow began his career as a hockey player in the junior department of the HK CSKA Moscow, for its first team to 2006 he was active in the Super League in 2004 after he played for the second team in the third-class Perwaja League since 2001. During this period, the winger in the NHL Entry Draft, was selected in the seventh round as a total 219 players from the St. Louis Blues in 2005. First, he remained in Russia, where he Severstal Cherepovets aground in for the 2006/07 season in the Super League. For the season 2007/ 08 he was ordered by the St. Louis Blues to North America, where he was the following year and a half in the American Hockey League farm team for the Peoria Rivermen under contract.

During the season 2008/ 09 Lemtjugow returned to Russia, where he signed a contract with Severstal Cherepovets of the Kontinental Hockey League newly established. He remained there until he shortly before the end of the following season moved to the league rivals Ak Bars Kazan, for which he ran aground until the end of the season in four games. In the following years he was a regular in Kazan, where he also began the 2011/12 season, before he was transferred in November 2011 to HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk. End of the following month, he moved again, this time to Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk.

From May 2012 Lemtjugow stood at Atlant Mytischtschi under contract and completed 33 KHL games for the club before moving to HC Traktor Chelyabinsk in the KHL at the turn of 2012/13. With tractor he reached the final of the Gagarin Cup, then he moved together with Vyacheslav Belov for HK Sibir Novosibirsk. In December 2013, the HK Sibir him swapped against Alexander Nesterov from HK Spartak Moscow.

Internationally

For Russia Lemtjugow took part in the U20 Junior World Cup in 2006, when he became vice world champion with his team. For this success he contributed four goals and an assist in six games.
