Noșlac
Noslac (deprecated Nojlac; German Great House, Hungarian Marosnagylak or Nagylak ) is a town in Alba county in Transylvania, Romania.
Geographical location
The municipality is located in northeastern Noslac Alba County south of the river Mures ( Mures ), in the southwest of the Transylvanian Basin. ( Judetean Drum ) On the county road DJ 107G located, the place is located 7 kilometers northeast of the city Ocna Mures ( Mures Hall ); the county capital Alba Iulia ( Charles Castle ) is located approximately 56 kilometers south-west.
History
According to a report by G. Téglás from 1887 an urn made of ceramics and objects from the Hallstatt period and an unallocated culture were discovered at the site.
The place was first mentioned in documents in 1288 under the Hungarian name Noglac, 1854 Nagy Lak and Noslac.

The highest population of the present village was founded in 1956 determined that the Romanians in 1956, the Hungarians and the Germans in 1900 and the Roma (68 ), 2011.
Attractions
- The Gothic church, built with twin tower and a bell of 1667, in the 15th century, rebuilt in the 18th century, is a historical monument.
- The wooden churches Sfintii Arhangheli Mihail şi Gavriil of Noslac, built 1700-1783, rebuilt in 1803 and 1923, built by the Copand ( Bußendorf ) in the 18th century, from Găbud ( Gabuden ) built in 1776 and rebuilt in 1875, is also a listed monument.
