Nowa WieÅ› Prudnicka

Neudorf (Polish: Nowa Wies Prudnicka ) is a town in Upper Silesia. Neudorf is situated in the municipality Zülz ( Biała) in Prudnicki powiat (district Neustadt OS) in the Polish Opole Voivodeship.

Geographical Location

Neudorf is located seven kilometers east of the parish seat Zülz, 16 kilometers northeast of the county town of Prudnik ( Neustadt OS) and 32 kilometers south of the Opole voivodship ( Opole ).

Neighboring villages of Neudorf in the West Krobusch ( Krobusz ) and Ziabnik ( Zabnik ), in the north Dambine ( Dębina ) and Ursulanowitz ( Urszulanowice ), to the east Schartowitz ( Czartowice ) and in the southeast of the village of Sims ( Gostomia ).

History

The town was founded in 1300 and has been documented as a " Villa Nova ". 1865, the place had 9 Gardener and 19 smallholdings.

In the plebiscite in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921 212 voters voted to remain in Germany and 28 for Poland. Neudorf remained with the German Reich. By 1945, the place was in the district of Neustadt OS

In 1945 the previously German place under Polish administration and renamed Nowa Wies Prudnicka and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950, the city came to Opole Voivodeship and since 1999 he is part of the powiat Prudnicki. On 6 March 2006 German was in the community Zülz, the Neudorf belongs introduced as a second official language. On 24 November 2008, the City also received the official German place names Neudorf.
