Oil Search

Oil Search Limited is the largest oil production company of Papua New Guinea. The company is involved in all oil fields in the country and is also in Yemen, Tunisia and Iraq active.

The headquarters of Oil Search, which operates both geology and oil production, is located in Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea.

Founded as the oil production company in 1929. It is one of the largest companies in the country and in 2006 generated 13 percent of the gross national product of Papua New Guinea.

The Company is listed on the Port Moresby Stock Exchange and Australian Stock Exchange, in Australia the S & P / ASX 50 Market capitalization was 2010, nine billion U.S. dollars. A share of 15 percent is held by the Government of Papua New Guinea, for which this State in 2006 received a dividend of eight million U.S. dollars.
