Paope is a village (Estonian küla ) in the rural community Kõrgessaare ( Kõrgessaare vald ). It is the second largest Estonian island of Hiiumaa ( German Dagö ).

Paope ( German Paopä ) has 41 inhabitants ( 31 December 2011).

The village lies on the same Baltic Bay ( Paope Laht ), four miles south-west of the village Kõrgessaare.
