Park Mi-young

Park Mi -young ( born November 17, 1981 in Daegu ) is a South Korean table tennis player. She took 2012 for the second time in the Olympic Games in part.

Career

Most successes were achieved by Park Mi -young in dual competitions with her ​​compatriot Kim Kyung- ah. With it, she reached the semi-finals respectively at the World Championships in 2007, 2008 and 2011. In the Pro Tour Grand Finals they were in 2007 and 2008 runner-up, in 2010 even managed to win. In 2009, she failed in the Asia Cup until the endgame. Also, the South Korean team they helped to good placements, such as fifth place at the 2006 and 2010 World Championships and a bronze at the 2012 World Cup.

In 2008 she first participated in the Olympics. In individual they won against Kim Jong ( North Korea) and subsequently lost against Wang Nan (China). With the South Korean team, they won bronze, for the doubles competition she was not qualified. Four years later she was again represented at the Olympics in singles. Again she survived the first round against the Hungarian Georgina Póta, then excrete against Li Xiaoxia (China).

Activities in Germany

2008, Park Mi -young from Bundesliga club FSV Kroppach was committed as a replacement player, never got there, however, are used.
