Parvomay

Parwomaj [ pɤrvomaj ] ( Bulgarian Първомай ) is a city and administrative center of a municipality of the same name in southern Bulgaria in Plovdiv Oblast. The city is the administrative center of the homonymous municipality Parwomaj.

The result is Parwomaj under its Turkish name Hadji Eles ( Bulgarian Хаджи Елес ). It is unclear whether the city was only in the 18th century or whether the village was first mentioned in 1576 in the Ottoman tax registers.

On the occasion of the birth of the Tsar 's son on 30 January 1894, the city in Borissowgrad ( Bulgarian Борисовград ) ( by Tsar Boris III. ) Was renamed in 1947 then in Parwomaj, which literally means " May Day " is.
