Pekka Niemi

Pekka Niemi (* November 15, 1909 in Alapaakkola; † 9 December 1993 Kittila ) was a Finnish cross-country skiers.

At the Olympic Games in Garmisch -Partenkirchen, he won the bronze medal over 18 km. A year later, at the Nordic World Ski Championships 1937 in Chamonix, he became world champion on the 50 km and won bronze in the relay.
