Phichai District
Amphoe Phichai ( Thai: พิชัย ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) of the Uttaradit province. The Uttaradit Province is located in the northern region of Thailand. Amphoe Phichai located in the southwest of the province.
Geography
Neighbouring districts (from north clockwise): Amphoe Tron and the Thong Saen Khan Province Uttaradit, Amphoe Wat Bot and the Phrom Phiram the province of Phitsanulok and Nakhon Si Amphoe Sawankhalok and the province of Sukhothai.
Traffic
In Amphoe Phichai the Ban Dara Junction ( " Ban Dara Jn. " Ban Dara diversion ) branches in from the north line of the Thai railway SRT from Bangkok to Chiang Mai a barely -used railway route to Amphoe Sawankhalok ( Sukhothai Province ) is located (see also: State Railway of Thailand).
Management
Amphoe Phichai is divided into eleven communities ( tambon), which in turn in 97 villages ( Muban ) are divided.
There are two small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district - Tha Sak and Nai Mueang.
In addition, there are eleven " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
