Phoenix Award

The Phoenix Award is a Youth Literature Prize, which is awarded each year since 1985 by the Children's Literature Association. The price has an unusual concept: to be Excellent works that are published at least 20 years before the award ceremony in the English language and have experienced no price and no proper reception at the time of their first publication.

The name of the prize indicates its purpose to snatch good youth books of oblivion as the Phoenix from the ashes arises anew.
