Pittsburgh Yellow Jackets

The Pittsburgh Jellow Jackets were an American ice hockey team from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The team played 1915-1937 inter alia, in the International Hockey League and the Eastern Hockey League.

History

The franchise of the Pittsburgh Yellow Jackets played from 1915 to 1925 in the United States Amateur Hockey Association ( Usaha ). After the League had been dissolved, the owner of the Yellowjackets sold his team to the 1930, the new team owner in 1925 to play as Pittsburgh Pirates in the National Hockey League. After the Pirates had been resettled in 1930 and replaced by the Philadelphia Quakers, the Yellow Jackets took back on the game mode and played from 1930 to 1932 in the professional International Hockey League. Once the team was in between active in any league, the Yellowjackets played from 1935 to 1937 in the Eastern Hockey League before the team was finally dissolved.
