Piz Curvér

The Piz Curvér ( from the Latin corvarius to corvs, Raven ) is a mountain east of Pignia and west of Riom- Parsonz and Salouf in the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland with a height of 2,971, 8 m above sea level. M. It forms the southern end of an elongated, broad and towards the tip fierce Schuttgrates. On the same Schuttgrat the Curvér Pintg are as Neaza ( 2'721 m) and the Curvér Pintg because Taspegn ( 2'731 m) ( Pintg Romansh is for small).

Location

The Piz Curvér is named after the Piz Curvér group, a subgroup of the above Kamnik Alps. At the summit, the municipal boundaries of Salouf and Andeer Zillis- Reischen meet. On the top of Curvér Pintg because Taspegn the municipal boundaries of Stierva, Salouf and Zillis- Reischen meet. The ridge separates the stone above the east by Shams in the West.

Among the neighboring peaks include the Curvér Pintg because Taspegn, the Piz Toissa, the Piz Martegnas, the Piz Cartas, Sur Carungas, the Piz digl Gurschus, the Piz la Tschera, the Curvér Pintg because Neaza and the Piz Neaza.

In clear conditions in the Northeast is the 73 km distant Stammerspitze and to see to the northwest, the similarly distant Gross Windgällen, Santis and 84 km away Maasplanggstock. The greatest distance vision but one has in the southwest, where you can see the monk, the Virgin, the Aletschhorn that Northrend, the cathedral and even the 147 km distant Bishorn.

Pilgrimage Ziteil

On the eastern flank of Piz Curvér is the Marian Shrine Ziteil, with its 2'429 m above sea level. M. 's highest shrine of the Eastern Alps.

Giovanni Segantini

Landscapes of the painter Giovanni Segantini (1858-1899) show in the background Piz and Piz Toissa Curvér. A multi-day hike called Senda Segantini connects stations from the life of the painter and also takes you to Parsonz on the eastern flank of Piz Curvér.
