Převýšov

Převýšov ( German Neudorf, also Przebeischow ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located four kilometers west of Chlumec nad Cidlinou and belongs to Okres Hradec Králové.

Geography

Převýšov is located on the right side of the Cidlina at the foot of the hill Na Vinici ( Planina, 250 m ) on the East Bohemian panel. East of the village lies in the valley of the creek Olešnický the pond Olešnický fishpond, which serves as a lake. In the south of the highway D 11/Europastraße 67, at the exit is 62 Chlumec nad Cidlinou -západ at Levín runs. On the western outskirts of the village there is the route of the railway line Velky Osek - Trutnov.

Neighboring towns are Lišice in the north, Chlumec nad Cidlinou in the northeast, and Krašov Kladruby in the east, and Olešnice Levín to the southeast, and Loukonosy Žiželice in the south, and Končice Zbraň the southwest, Bludy in the west and Lovčice in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of Przebegssow dates from the year in 1386. Later the name Nová Ves / Neudorf was still in use. Residents living from agriculture and wine, which was operated on the southern slope of the Planinaberges. The place was spacious, surrounded by two stately hunting areas. North of the village lay the forest areas of the castle Karlskron and to the west, the great Žehuňer zoo closed to the hunting lodge at Neugebäu. In the 18th and 19th centuries, the different place names Přebejšov, Przebeischow, Nová Ves, Neudorf and Přivýšov were used alternately.

After the abolition of patrimonial Přivýšov or Nová Ves was formed in 1850 a district of the political community Lučice in the district Nový Bydžov. With the construction of the section of Great Wossek after Wostromer Přivýšov 1870 connected to the railway network. 1878 was a separate municipality, who led the three official name Převýšov, Nová Ves and Přebýšov. In 1890, the village had 67 houses and 427 inhabitants. Since 1920, the municipality bears the name Převýšov. On January 1, 1961, Převýšov to Okres Hradec Králové. Gepfarrt the village is by Žiželice.
