Reimund Dietzen

Reimund Dietzen (born 29 May 1959 Trier ) is a retired German racing cyclist.

His greatest success Reimund Dietzen at the Tour of Spain. 1987 and 1988, he came second overall this tour. In 1987 he contributed a total of five days the golden jersey as first overall. In these two years and in 1984 he was able to record stage wins for himself. Other successes are its numerous German Championships dar. 1984 and 1986 he won the German road championship of professional cyclists. As an amateur he was German champion in mountain biking, the Cross and on the road. In 1989, he had to end his career after he had a bad fall in an unlit tunnel without a helmet.

Reimund Dietzen is cycling still very connected even after the termination of his active career. In the 1990s he ran a bicycle shop in Konz, after which he was active until its dissolution in the sporty direction of the German cycling team Gerolsteiner. He lives in Mont- Roig del Camp, on the Costa Daurada, is married and has two children.
