Richard Money ( born October 13, 1955 in Lowestoft, Waveney, Suffolk ) is an English former footballer who now works as a coach.

Career

Money played from 1973 for Scunthorpe United in the Football League Fourth Division. 1977 changed the defender for Fulham in the Second Division. When the club in 1980 descent into third division, he moved to the reigning English champions Liverpool in the First Division, but could not prevail in the next two years and in 1981 became briefly loaned to Derby County. As an English master, he said goodbye to 1982 in the direction Erstligaaufsteiger Luton Town. In 1983 he moved on to Portsmouth and had between 1985 and 1990 end his career with his hometown club Scunthorpe United in the fourth division.

First Money worked after end of his career as a youth coach at Aston Villa. In January 1993, he took over Scunthorpe United as coach, a position he held until the summer of 1994. Later he was responsible for youth work at Coventry City, before the Swedish first division club AIK took over in 2003. In his first season he led the club to fifth place in the standings, but as early as the preparation for the season 2004 the team could convince her and started in the round without victory, he resigned after the third round.
