Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality

Ringkøbing -Skjern municipality is a Danish municipality in Region Midtjylland in the west of Jutland. It was created on 1 January 2007 as part of local government reform by combining the previous five municipalities Ringkøbing, Skjern, Egvad, Videbæk and Holm country.

The municipality has a total population of 57 529 inhabitants living (as of 1 January 2013) and covers an area of ​​1469.50 km ².

Mayor of the municipality is Enevoldsen since 2010 Iver. He belongs to the party Venstre.
