The Riverside Stadium is an English football stadium and home ground of the football club FC Middlesbrough.
History
Construction work on the new stadium began in 1994 and lasted 32 weeks. Then carried out for the season 1995/96, the move from Ayresome Park, had fought in the Boro since 1903 its home games, the Riverside Stadium. The new sports facility Middlesbrough was the first major stadium in England, which was created according to the specifications of the Taylor Report.

In 2005, the old entrance gates of Ayresome Park were re-erected by the club as a reminder of times past before the Riverside Stadium and are now serving as gateways to the new stadium.
