The Dean Court is a football stadium in the south-western English city of Bournemouth, Dorset. It is the home ground of AFC Bournemouth. From 2001 to 2010, the plant was named after the sponsor Fitness First Stadium Fitness First Ltd. .. As of July 2011, the venue for three years the official sponsors names Seward Stadium will receive the Seward Motor Company.

History

The stadium was completed in 1910. For the inauguration played the AFC Bournemouth against the reserve team of FC Southampton. The venue has four Grandstand ranks ( two covered longitudinal and stand behind as well as a steel pipe in the south grandstand without a roof ) and has a seating capacity for 10,700 visitors. In 2001, the complex was renovated and it turned the game field by 90 °. The first game after the change took place between AFC Bournemouth and Wrexham FC on 10 November 2001. For the fans of the visiting team about 1,500 spaces are available on a part of the East Stand. On the grandstand there is the club office, the press area, a fitness center, physiotherapy room and crew cabins as well as VIP lounges and conference rooms.

In February 2010, the CLASSIC Eyes Eye Care Centre was a raffle official stadium sponsor. The contract runs until the end of the season 2010/11. Classic Eyes provides further for the optometric care for the players and keeps ready special offers (contact lenses, sunglasses, etc.) for the fans of the club.
