Winner of the Danish Film Awards in the category Best Actor Robert ( Årets mandlige hovedrolle ). The Danish Film Academy ( Danmarks film Akademi ) awards since 1984, each year their awards for the best film productions and filmmakers in late January or early February at the Robert Festival in Copenhagen.
The most successful in this category, the Danish actor Frits Helmuth were (1990, 1994), Lars Simonsen (1985, 1998), Ulrich Thomsen (1999, 2004), Nikolaj Lie Kaas (2002 and 2012 ) and Mads Mikkelsen (2005 and 2014), it applied to two awards. In 17 of 31 cases, the award-winning performer was consistent with the later Bodil winner, most recently in 2014 happened with the award at Mads Mikkelsen ( The Hunt ).
