Roberta Fiandino
Roberta Fiandino (born 17 October 1985 in Cuneo) is an Italian biathlete.
The Italian Roberta Fiandino by C. S. Esercito ( Sport Development Centre of the Army ) started her international career at the Junior World Championships in 2002 in Ridnaun. The Festionarin took a year until 2006 part in this event. 2003 Kościelisko she finished fifth in the relay, 2004 in Haute Maurienne they had their best year. In individual she was eighth in the Sprint Seventh and Eleventh in pursuit. With the season still was added a seventh place. The World Cup the following year in Kontiolahti proceeded without significant placements. At the last championships in 2006 in Presque Isle, she was again 14th in singles and fifth in the relay. The following year, Fiandino first participated at the Biathlon World Veterans Championships. In the single, it reached 56th place in the sprint, she was 61 and thus failed to qualify for pursuing only one place. With the Season Fiandino could prove a good eighth place.
Since the Sprint 2002 Obertilliach Roberta Fiandino started in Europa-/IBU-Cup. Here she improved steadily. The following year she was able to achieve a fifth place at a single at the same place. Only in 2006 could again improve on a pursuit in Martell in fourth placement. Three results in the top 10 made sure that it was then for the first time set up for the Biathlon World Cup. With the season it was Eleventh, in the following sprint the first time in 88 Points ran Fiandino than a sprint 29, 2007 in Hochfilzen. In the further course of the year they started getting in the games on roller skis at the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2008 in Haute Maurienne. Here she was 12, the sprint and 15th of persecution. Also at the 2009 World Championships in Pyeongchang Fiandino was used. In the sprint she missed than 63 again just the pursuit race, in an individual they came on the 46th place. In relay races they missed their use as the anchor leg of Italy, as Michela Ponza was forced to retire shortly after the start.
Previous career highlight for Fiandino was to participate in the Olympic Winter Games 2010. In Vancouver, it was 73 of the Single Page, with Ponza, Katja Haller and Karin Oberhofer in the Eleventh Season. Another major success was achieved by the Italian at the Biathlon World Championships 2011 in Ridnaun where they surprisingly won the silver medal in the relay race with Dorothea Wierer, Michela Andreola and Karin Oberhofer. At the World Championships this year in Khanty-Mansiysk the Italian reached with a 25th place in the individual one of their best results ever, but were no further operations. In the further course of the year it was at the Summer Biathlon World Championships 2011 in Martell Seventh of the sprint and 12th of persecution.
