RÅ“schwoog
Rœschwoog ( German ROESCHWOOG ) is a commune with 2205 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Bas- Rhin in the Alsace region. It belongs to the district Haguenau, to Canton Bischwiller and founded in 1992, community association Uffried.
Geography
The municipality is located in Rœschwoog the Upper Rhine Plain, near the mouth of the modernists in the Rhine. The Rhine, which forms the border with Germany, is four kilometers from the town center Rœschwoogs. The cities of Haguenau, Rastatt and Baden- Baden are in each case about 18 kilometers away. In the northwest of the municipality is a section of the A 35 (volume Bourg -Strasbourg- Basel) runs.

History
Rœschwoog received in 1876 with the opening of the railway line Wörth - Strasbourg a railway connection. 1895 then a connection was starting from Rœschwoog station, which is located in the northwest of the village, made to the Rheinbahn.
