Rollo & King

Rollo & King is a Danish pop group, consisting of Søren Poppe and Stefan Nielsen.

During her studies, the two young academics came together and formed a band. They won the Danish preselection for the Euro Vision Song Contest, the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix with the self-penned country title The står et billede af dig på with board. Together with the singer Signe Svendsen they carried the title in English as Never ever let you go (German: never let you go ) and reached the Euro Vision Song Contest 2001 second place.

The band's name is humorous to see: Rollo and King are the dogs names in Denmark most commonly used.
