Sabinov

Sabinov ( until 1927 slovak also " Sobinov "; Zeb German, Hungarian Kisszeben, latin Cibinium ) is a city in eastern Slovakia.

It was first mentioned in 1248. In addition to the main town Sabinov belongs to the city and the place Orkucany (1986 amalgamated ).

The site received international attention through the film " Obchod na korze " ( The shop on the Corso ), which was awarded with an Oscar.
