Saint-Julien-en-Born

Saint -Julien -en -Born is a commune with 1492 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the canton in the Arrondissement Castets Dax in the Landes department in the region of Aquitaine. It consists of the main town of Saint -Julien -en- Born and the seaside resort of Contis -Plage. The place is particularly influenced by tourism.

Geography

Saint -Julien -en -Born is a few miles inland from the Côte d' Argent in the Pays de Born. The seaside town of Contis is located directly on the coast.

Attractions

In Contis is a lighthouse, which can also be climbed. It represents the only lighthouse in the country, because Mimizan between Biarritz and there is no other lighthouse.
