Sarit Hadad
Sarit Hadad (Hebrew שרית חדד, German inscription: Sarit Chadad; born September 20, 1978 in Hadera, Israel) is an Israeli singer and musician, who at the Euro Vision Song Contest took part in 2002. My real name is Sarah Chodedtow.
Life
At eight, she appeared in a local club and played classical music on the piano. She taught at, among others, self- organ, guitar, accordion and Darabuka. At the age of 15, she joined the Hadera Youth Band.
During her solo career Hadad published numerous gold and platinum albums and achieved top rankings in the Israeli charts. In 2002, she represented Israel at the Euro Vision Song Contest with the song Light a Candle, reaching the twelfth.
Sarit Hadad spent most of her schooling at the Democratic School of Hadera.
