Scott Barney

Scott Barney ( born March 27, 1979 in Oshawa, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is under contract with HC Valpellice in the Italian Elite.A since the summer of 2013.

Career

Scott Barney was selected as a total 29 players during the NHL Entry Draft in 1997 by the Los Angeles Kings. In the years 1995 to 1999, he played four years in the Ontario Hockey League for the Peterborough Petes. In the season 1998/99 he was also in five games of the regular season and a playoff game for the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League on the ice. On 28 September 1999 Barney suffered in training camp of the Kings a severe back injury that spielverunfähigte him for three years.
