Sebastian Dahm

Sebastian Dahm (born 28 February 1987 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish professional ice hockey goaltender who stands since 2011 in the Rødovre Mighty Bulls in the AL -Bank Ligaen under contract.

Career

Sebastian Dahm began his career as a hockey player in his native Denmark in the junior department of Hvidovre Ishockey in which he was active until 2003. Then the goalkeeper played two years for the U18 - U20 and Junior of the Swedish first division club Malmö Redhawks. From 2005 to 2008 he stood for the Belleville Bulls, Sarnia Sting, Sudbury Wolves and Niagara IceDogs in the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Hockey League between the posts. For the 2008/ 09 season he signed a contract with the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League, for the 24 times he was in his rookie year on the ice. In addition, the Dane graduated five games for the Johnstown Chiefs of the ECHL. The 2009/10 season he joined the Alaska Aces in the ECHL, spent much of the season but as Players out on loan at the Bloomington PrairieThunder in the International Hockey League.

After Bloomington had been included in the Central Hockey League in the summer of 2010 after the dissolution of the IHL, he had no use, and therefore returned in December 2010 back to Denmark. There he stood in two games for the Rødovre Mighty Bulls in the AL -Bank Ligaen, before moving mid-month to EfB Ishockey, in which he regularly came in the highest Danish league until season's end for use. For the 2011/12 season he returned to the Rødovre Mighty Bulls.

Internationally

For Denmark Dahm took at junior level at the U18 Junior B World Cup 2003, the U18 Junior World Championships in 2004 and 2005 and the U20 Junior B World Championships in 2004, 2005 and 2007 in part. In the senior level, he was so far only in the 2009 World Cup squad in his country.
