Sailor is a song by German New - German hardness music group Rammstein. It is the second single from her album Herzeleid. It was coupled on January 8, 1996 and was produced by Jacob Hellner and Carl -Michael Herlöfsson. The song is the first ballad of the band. It is known mainly because of the unusual live performance is taken into account when keyboardist Flake usually with a rubber boat on the crowd in front of the stage.

Background

As You smell so good was one sailor to a demo for the competition of the Berlin Senate in February 1994, then under the title Come in my boat. The first known live performance took place in Saalfeld on New Year's Eve 1994. It was then played constantly on the tour for this album Herzeleid.
