Lichtspielhaus is a DVD that was released by the German band Rammstein on 1 December 2003.

Content

The DVD's menu was prepared consuming and is considered a hollywood -like. After inserting the known live from Berlin engine starts music publicity. After that, the menu does not start immediately, but it is outside the play of light house ( cinema). Gradually it literally flies in the cinema, where the menu then slowly builds. On the DVD are all included to show the DVD, released videos. Furthermore, TV trailers of singles and albums and an extensive interview. In respect Blitzkrieg! were several TV interviews with and cut together about Rammstein. Among them is the outburst of Campino ( Die Toten Hosen ). He said:

" The Americans love entertainment. And like David Copperfield and Siegfried & Roy! And in this respect, because if such a " Siegfried & Roy " moderate Futzi comes and makes a bit of fire, that's what great. "

The album cover shows a gray building on the wall of the logo Rammstein is to see the sky above it is red. The building also are the writings Rammstein and cinema.

Success

The DVD went into the 51st week of the year 2003 at No. 25 in the German charts and stayed nine weeks in the Top 100 In Germany, the DVD reached platinum. This means Lichtspielhaus has sold over 50,000 copies in Germany. With over 3,000 copies sold in Switzerland, there was enough there for a gold record.
