History

Sereflikochisar was in 1467 annexed by Fatih Sultan Mehmet the Ottoman Empire. In the Ottoman Empire Sereflikochisar belonged to the province of Aksaray. 1891 Sereflikochisar was annexed the province of Konya. After Sereflikochisar a county was, it was released in 1920 returned to the province of Aksaray.
