Simona Caparrini

Simona Caparrini (* in Florence) is an Italian film and television actress.

Life and career

In 1990, she began her film career with a small supporting role as Carla in the movie " Il Muro di gomma " directed by Marco Risi. Her first significant character role she received in 1994 as a partner of Alberto Sordi in the role of Wilma in " Nestore, l' ultima corsa ". Caparrini occurred in many other film and television productions and worked with a number of major directors together as Marco Risi, Alberto Sordi, Tonino Cervi, Vittorio De Sisti, Michael Radford, Antonello Grimaldi, Marco Serafini, Carlo Carlei, Guy Ritchie and Woody Allen.

Under Woody Allen, she played the role of Aunt Joanne in the film To Rome with Love and was a wide international audience known. 2013 she starred alongside Paul Giamatti, Damian Lewis, Ed Westwick, Hailee Steinfeld, Stellan Skarsgård, in Romeo and Juliet, directed by Carlo Carlei. In 2014 she starred opposite Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer, Hugh Grant in Warner Bros. The Man from UNCLE directed by Guy Ritchie.
